About Us
Addiction Food was founded in Sydney in 2000 by Georgie and Grant Campbell.
We are a husband and wife team doing our absolute best to keep the dream of manufacturing in Australia alive!
As a 100% Australian owned and made family business, we manufacture ethical, planet-friendly, plant based sweets and treats that are gentle on our environment.
We are volunteer wildlife carers for over 20 years and continue to rescue and rehabilitate sick and injured wildlife in our Sydney home.

All our products are certified by Vegan Australia, are gluten free and palm oil free. We love our planet and are conscious of walking softly.
Our motivation has always been and will continue to be a voice for the voiceless.

Our Story
It all started with brownies
Our funky fudge brownies were created in a tiny apartment kitchen in Sydney with a new born baby girl and wildlife in care. It was crazy, however somewhat organised chaos!
Luckily for us, we were pretty good friends with our neighbours in the block, so we used their ovens along with ours… timers were going off as we would race in and out of other units.
Our whole apartment block smelt like a chocolate factory.
We had many reject batches while trying to create the perfect recipe.
Although we were supported by friends and family lining up for a whole heap of brownie batter both over and under cooked!
We wanted to make plant based products that were ethical and gentle on the environment
It became our mission to create the perfect gluten free, plant based brownie so that’s exactly what we did!
We continued with product development then expanded to bliss balls, chocolate truffles, raw bars… In fact we had over 40 different products that we brought to the market.
Having your own food business is never always smooth sailing… Grant and I were always working 2 jobs for the first few years and still work full time in the business doing everything.
There was never enough time in the day so we had to scale back and focus on the products our customers loved the most.
We started our first market stall at Frenchs Forest Organic Market on Sunday mornings back in 2005.
This is really the beginning of Addiction Food as it is today.
